…In the Engishiki, apart from providing rice for regular Shinto, Buddhist, and seasonal ceremonies, the provisions are further limited to monthly rice allowances for chamberlains, the Imperial Palace Chamberlain, the Chamberlain's Office, and various places under the Chamberlain's jurisdiction, as well as monthly rice allowances for Saijo, Onna-go, and Nyokan-cho, the Accounting Officer and the Shungubo's Shisho, the Daigakuryo, the Rokuefufusho, and the Uchiju. The Oinoryo territory included the Binbo no Ho and Miineta, both of which continued to exist until the Sengoku period. From the end of the Heian period onwards, the descendants of the Daigaiki Nakahara no Michito inherited the position of head and took charge of the ryo territory. …
