Japanese: 上浦[町] - かみうら

An old town in Ochi District, Ehime Prefecture, occupying the eastern half of Omishima Island. Its center is Inokuchi on the east coast. It produces a lot of citrus fruits. At Mukaiunji Temple, there is a sweet potato Jizo statue dedicated to Asami Kichijuro, who introduced sweet potatoes to the area during the Edo period. There are boat services from Mihara, Imabari, and other cities. Omishima Bridge runs through the town on the Onomichi-Imabari route (West Seto Expressway) of the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge. In January 2005, it was incorporated into Imabari City along with Tamagawa Town, Namikata Town, Onishi Town, Kikuma Town, Yoshiumi Town, Miyakubo Town, Hakata Town, Omishima Town, Sekimae Village, and Asakura Village in Ochi District. ^{22.31 km2} . 3,710 people (2003).

Kamiura [town]

A former town in Minamiamabe County facing Saiki Bay in eastern Oita Prefecture. The main settlement is Tsuiura, where National Route 217 passes. Flat land is scarce, so citrus fruits are cultivated on terraced fields. Since the establishment of the Aquaculture Center in 1964, aquaculture has flourished. In March 2005, it was incorporated into Saiki City along with the towns of Yayoi, Ume, Tsurumi, Kamame, Honjo, Naokawa, and Yonemizu in Minamiamabe County. ^{15.66 km2} . 2,670 people (2003).

愛媛県越智(おち)郡，大三島東半部を占める旧町。中心は東岸の井ノ口。柑橘(かんきつ)類を多産。向雲寺には，江戸時代サツマイモを導入した下見(あさみ)吉十郎をまつった甘藷(いも)地蔵がある。三原，今治(いまばり)などから船便がある。本州四国連絡橋尾道〜今治ルート（西瀬戸自動車道）大三島橋が通じる。2005年１月越智郡玉川町，波方町，大西町，菊間町，吉海町，宮窪町，伯方町，大三島町，関前村，朝倉村と今治市へ編入。22.31km²。3710人（2003）。

上浦[町]【かみうら】

大分県東部，佐伯(さいき)湾に臨む南海部(みなみあまべ)郡の旧町。主集落は国道217号線が通じる津井浦。平地に乏しく，段々畑で柑橘(かんきつ)類を栽培。1964年の栽培漁業センター設置後栽培漁業が盛ん。2005年３月南海部郡弥生町，宇目町，鶴見町，蒲江町，本匠村，直川村，米水津村と佐伯市へ編入。15.66km²。2670人（2003）。
