"Praise for rebirth in the afterlife" - Oujouraisange

...A general name for Shomyokyoku (phonology songs). These verses pray for rebirth in paradise and are also called "Ojo Reisan Ge," "Ojo Reisan," or "Reisan." They refer to six pieces: "Sunset Reisan Ge," "First Night Reisan Ge," "Midnight Reisan Ge," "Last Night Reisan Ge," "Morning Reisan Ge," and "Daytime Reisan Ge." They are used in memorial services in Jodo sects and some Jodo Shinshu sects.
