Golden Voice

Her real name was Rosine Bernard. She was known for her beautiful voice, praised as the "golden voice," and was one of the great actors of the late 19th century, known as the "sacred monsters." Born in Paris, she graduated from the Conservatoire National de Dramatic School and made her debut at the Comédie-Française in 1862.
