…Later, under the influence of Frege and BAW Russell, he became interested in philosophy, and in 1926 became a private lecturer at the University of Vienna. Together with Schlick and others, he formed the Vienna Circle and became a central figure. Together with Reichenbach, who was in Berlin at the time, he published the magazine Erkentnis (Recognition) and spread the ideas of logical positivism throughout the world. Later, he fled the Nazis and went to the United States in 1935, where he taught at the University of Chicago and the University of California, planting a new philosophy there. …
