Her best collection of poems, Aerial, was published posthumously (1965), and in it the anguish and death urge of the poet, a woman and mother, are linked to destructive elements of the modern world, such as the atrocities of Nazi Germany, creating a frightening style of poetry with simple, magical rhythms.
