Principality of Aydın - Aydın Kokoku (English spelling) Aydınoǧulları
A principality founded in western Anatolia by Turkmen chieftain Mehmet Bey after the fall of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire in the early 14th century. It came under the control of the Ottoman Empire in 1426.
