In 1935, under the control of the two major financial capitalists, Rockefeller and Morgan, eight major companies (known as "major"), namely Paramount, Warner Brothers, MGM, 20th Century Fox, RKO, Universal, Columbia, and United Artists, organized the MPPA (Motion Picture Producers Association of America) and monopolized 95% of distribution.
