Freshly enriched uranium is in the form of _UF6 , but in nuclear reactors it is used in the form of uranium dioxide ( _UO2) . The process of converting gaseous _UF6 into powdered _UO2 is called the reconversion process of uranium. After reconversion, the process of assembling it into the fuel form determined by the specifications of each nuclear reactor is called the forming and processing process.
