Ume Sakura

...It is an easy-to-follow Sanshidari piece, and is often used for training. It is a song about a woman's feelings of waiting for her man and about parting at dawn, and is a very sentimental piece, but the lyrics are not suitable for an introductory piece for children, so sometimes the alternate lyrics "Ume Sakura" (Plum Cherry Blossoms, Are They a Mist?) written by Hozumi Nobushige are used. It is a different piece from the same-titled piece in "Meriyasu Hounengura" (1757)....
