The rice yield set for feudal lords and hatamoto (direct retainers of feudal lords) in the Edo period. It is said to have been calculated based on actual land surveys within the domain, and is said to be greater than the omotedaka (vermilion seal yield), but the ratio varied depending on the relationship with the shogunate. It was used as the actual standard for levying tribute. → Related items Table of land area | rice yield Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
