Japanese: 右旋性 - うせんせい（英語表記）dextrorotatory

Among optically active substances, that is, compounds that rotate the plane of polarized light, substances that rotate the plane of polarized light to the right are called dextrorotatory substances, and their property is called dextrorotatory. To express the dextrorotatory nature of a compound, add d or + before the name of the compound. For example, d- lactic acid and +lactic acid are written as such. (→ Levorotatory)
