Turmeric
A regional brand of the Kyushu-Okinawa region, Okinawa Prefecture.
A perennial plant of the ginger family native to tropical Asia. It was brought to Okinawa between the early 15th century and the late 16th century. Curcumin, which is abundant in turmeric, has been attracting attention as an ingredient that promotes metabolism.
