Born on March 5, 1910. He joined the scriptwriting study group led by Kikuchi Kan, and in 1941, his play "Sasou Iin" was performed at the Bungakuza Theatre. In 1942, he turned to film scriptwriting with "Mother's Map," and was responsible for "Ima Hitotsubono" and "Drunken Angel." He passed away on December 19, 1993. He was 83 years old.
