Saddle making club - Saddle making club

A type of ancient occupation. They made saddle gear, saddle sections, and saddle-making sections. They were made up of skilled people who had come from overseas and were under the control of the saddle-making clan (village heads and chiefs). Under the ritsuryo system, they were organized into Shinabe (production section) belonging to the Ministry of Finance and Zakko (military section) belonging to the Army Bureau, and were distinguished from ordinary citizens.

古代の職業部の一種。鞍具(あんぐ)の製作にあたり、鞍部、案部、桉作部にもつくる。渡来系技術民よりなり、鞍作氏（村主(すぐり)、首(おびと)）の支配下にあった。令制(りょうせい)下では大蔵省所属の品部(しなべ)や造兵司所属の雑戸(ざっこ)に組織され、一般良民とは区別された。
