[Waiver of inheritance rights]
A person entitled to a reserved portion may renounce all or part of the reserved portion that will belong to him or her in the future before the start of the inheritance. A person entitled to a reserved portion is free to renounce his or her reserved portion after the start of the inheritance, and therefore does not need permission from the family court to do so.
