Ibri - Ibri

...The name is derived from the Greek word Hebraios, and in the Old Testament it is called 'ibrî. In ancient Eastern documents from the 3rd to 2nd millennium BC, the name hapir or habiru, 'apiru, is found to refer to a nomadic and unstable social class that appeared as mercenaries or threatened settled populations.
