〘noun〙① A folk song sung in the countryside. Hinauta (a folk song). Folk song. ※Kakuhon Ukiyoburo (1809-13), vol. 4 "All inakauta (country songs) , including gozebushi (blind female musicians ' songs) , are voiced with dull consonants."② A song used in the backstage of Kabuki performances in rural scenes. Zaigyouta (a folk song from the countryside). ※Giba Kunmou Zui (1803), vol. 3 "There are two kinds of inakauta (country songs) ."
