One stamp - Ikkain

The exterior of the building features high udachi (raised roofs) made of white plaster walls, while the interior is decorated with a variety of accordion-style ceilings, and carvings are used on the beams and other components.

This is a style of residence found in the areas surrounding Kunming in Yunnan Province, and is called "Ichi-in" (one seal) because of the impression it gives of a perfect square shape created by the two-story surrounding walls. In addition to the "three-bay, four-bay" style sangoyuin (three-room, four-room) with a main room three bays wide and two bays each on the east and west sides (corresponding to the side rooms in northern China), there are also sigoyuin (four-room) buildings with three bays and those with a room facing the front.
