It began in 1468 (Onin 2) when Ichijo Kaneyoshi's eldest son, former regent Norifusa, moved to Nakamura, Hata-sho, a family territory, with the support of the local Ohira clan, and continued for five generations from the founder Fusaie through Fusafuyu, Fusamoto, Kanesada, and Tadamasa.
