The abdomen of the aonura genus, the false fukuromushi Lernaeodiscus okadai , which has a red pouch and a green root and is about 5 mm long and 2.5 mm long, and the orange fukuromushi L. cornutus , which has a large horn-like protrusion on its pouch, parasitize the abdomen of the aonura genus, the false fukuromushi. The horn fukuromushi Thompsonia japonica parasitizes a wide range of crabs, hermit crabs, shrimp, and mantis shrimp, but also parasitize the host's thoracic legs, abdominal limbs, and other parts of the body other than the abdomen, by forming numerous pouches about 2 mm long with long stalks. …
