Islamic temple - islamjiin

...(now moved to Ruicheng) is a typical Taoist temple built at the shrine of Lü Dongbin of the Tang Dynasty. Although it has lost its former grand scale, the group of buildings along the central axis, including Wujimen, Sanqing Hall, Chunyang Hall, and Chongyang Hall, which were erected from 1262 during the Yuan Dynasty, remain, and it is particularly known for its magnificent murals.

Islam is said to have been introduced during the Tang dynasty, and became especially popular after the Yuan dynasty, when many worship temples, called Qingzhen Si in Chinese, were built all over the country. The Huaisheng Mosque Light Tower in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is an example of an ancient structure dating back to the 19th century, and although there are various theories about its origin, it is a representative example of a brick spire with a spiral staircase that faithfully reproduces the prototype of a minaret.
