A small prop used in Noh and Kyogen. It is also written as a kazuroke or a koshioke. It is a cylindrical bucket about 30 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height, painted black lacquer and with an inro lid. Some have maki-e lacquerware. It is used as a seat instead of a floor cushion. In Kyogen, it is also used as a sake bucket or tea jar, and the lid is also used for sake cups. 能および狂言の小道具。鬘桶とも書き,腰桶ともいう。直径 30cm,高さ 45cmほどの円筒形,黒漆塗りで印籠ぶた付きの桶。蒔絵のあるものもある。床几の代りの腰掛として使う。狂言ではこのほかに酒桶や茶壺に用いたり,ふたを酒盃にも使う。
