Ieke Jasaku - Ieke Jasaku

Japanese: イエケ・ジャサク - いえけじゃさく

He organized a guard of 10,000 men, including the heads of the thousand households, the hundred households, and the ten households. He also established the Iek-e-Jasak (Great Laws), the basic law code of the empire. The system he established through his excellent organizational skills strengthened Khan's control over the state.

...A word meaning law or ordinance during the Mongol Empire. Yasa is a Turkish word, and in Mongolian it is called Jasak (柚柚, 柚柚黑). This word was apparently used to mean military law or military law before the founding of the Mongol Empire. With the founding of the empire in 1206, Genghis Khan established the basic law of the empire, which was called the Great Law (Yeke Jasak). This was later revised and refined in 1218 and 1225. The Great Law is thought to have been codified based on the customary law of the Mongol people, but also included various contents necessary for the governance of a large empire.
