An international broadcasting organization established with the purpose of promoting cooperation and communication among broadcasting organizations in Arab countries. Founded in February 1969. The headquarters is located in Cairo, Egypt, and the technical center is in Khartoum, Sudan. As of January 1992, there are 22 regular members and 6 associate members.
