Apedemak God - Apedemakshin

...The main ruins are Naqa, Musawrat es-Sufra, Wad ben Naqa, Umm Usda, and Basa, and are mostly Egyptian-style buildings with reliefs and paintings depicting various gods and the battles between Kush and his enemies. A unique Meroean god was Apedemak, a lion-god unknown in either Egypt or Napata, and of Indian origin. At Naqa there is a small temple called Kiosk, which is notable as the southernmost Roman-style building on the African continent.
