During the period of turmoil following the fall of the Chola and Chalukya dynasties, the dynasty expanded its territory, mainly in the Andhra region, fighting against the Yadava, Hoysala and Pandya dynasties. His daughter Rudrāmbā later became queen and fought mainly against the Yadava dynasty. Until the time of the next king, Pratapārudra II (1295-1323), the dynasty was one of the great powers in South India. However, following the conquest of South India by the Muslim dynasty of Delhi, the capital was occupied by Malik Kakur in 1310.
