Japanese: 後歯下駄 - あとばげた

...The two-toothed low-set geta are called hiyori geta (Rikyu geta) and are worn for walking after the rain. The thick-set geta are called sukeroku geta, and those with teeth only at the back are called atohashi geta, and they have the same purpose. There are also various types of geta for work in farming, fishing, and mountain villages, and they continue to preserve the old traditions.
