Attic New Comedy

…An ancient Greek Athenian comedian. A representative writer of New Attic Comedy, which is contrasted with Old Attic Comedy, and the nephew of the comedian Alexis. His comedies dramatize very ordinary human relationships, such as between parents and children, between man (husband) and woman (wife), between master and slave, between neighbors, and between friends.
