Aeneas - Aineas

…son of Anchises and the goddess Aphrodite. His Greek name was Aineas. In Homer's Iliad, he is not only a brave warrior on a par with Hector, but is also described as the only one of the Trojan generals who, under the protection of the gods, survived the war and was destined to become the new ruler of the Trojans.
