...The theory that flying saucers are alien spaceships from outside the Earth was first publicly proposed by American aviation journalist DE Keyhoe in 1949. This immediately attracted people's interest, and the idea that flying saucers are alien spaceships began to spread. Then, when American mystic philosopher G. Adamski (1891-1965) published "The Flying Saucer Story" (1953), which described a flying saucer landing in the California desert and his meeting with Venusians who emerged from it, a series of "contactees" (people who have met aliens) who had similar experiences began to appear. These people and the group of people who believe in them have continued to engage in a kind of pseudo-emerging religious activity, separate from private research groups that claim to be conducting scientific research, to the present day. ...
