Akibadera Temple

A Soto Zen temple in Ryoke , Haruno-cho, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The mountain name is Akihayama. It was founded by Gyoki in 718. It is known for its miraculous fire prevention powers. It was abandoned due to the separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the early Meiji period, but was restored in 1880. Shuyo-ji. Akiha Sanjaku-bo. 静岡県浜松市春野町領家にある曹洞宗の寺。山号は秋葉(あきは)山。養老二年（七一八）行基の草創。防火の霊験で知られる。明治初年の神仏分離により廃寺となったが、明治一三年（一八八〇）復興。しゅうようじ。秋葉三尺坊。
