Red Tiger's Eye Stone

...The original blue color is called hawk's eye, and in Japan it is called blue tiger's eye. The yellowish brown stone turns into red tiger's eye when heat treated. There are also stones that are bleached by acid treatment (called nukitora), and dyed stones that are further dyed in various colors (called sometora).
