[2] ( Mimibukuro ) Essays from the mid-Edo period. Ten volumes. Written by Negishi Yasumori . Started in 1784 ( Tenmei 4 ). Completed in 1814 ( Bunka 11 ). A work that records street talk, strange tales, and other events from the mid-Edo period. It is a record of the experiences of the author, who rose to the position of finance magistrate, and is full of interesting stories and diverse topics. It was not published during the Edo period, but was circulated in copies.

[1] 防寒のため耳にかぶせる袋。寒さよけの耳おおい。みみかけ。《季・冬》※閑耳目（1908）〈渋川玄耳〉運転手の耳套「唯一つ必要な防寒具と見受けたのは、電車の運転手の耳套(ミミブクロ)」[2] (耳嚢) 江戸中期の随筆。一〇巻。根岸鎮衛(やすもり)著。天明四年（一七八四）起筆。文化一一年（一八一四）成立。江戸中期の事項を中心に巷談(こうだん)、異事奇談などを書き留めた作品。勘定奉行にまでなった著者の見聞録であり、多様な話柄に富んで興味深い。江戸時代には刊行されなかったが、写本によって流布した。
