...It reaches a total length of 25 cm. Its body color varies and it is called Matanago, Akatanago, Aotanago, etc., and it was considered to be different or the same species, and its classification was confused, but it has now been classified into two species, Umitanago and Aotanago D. viridis . It is difficult to distinguish from specimens, but Umitanago has a copper-brown base color, light orange pectoral fins, and usually has two black stripes on the snout, while Aotanago has a dark olive base color, light orange pectoral fins with a black spot on the upper edge of the base, and no black stripes on the snout.
