Jungle gym - Jungle gym (English spelling) junglegym

A playground equipment for children, consisting of iron, duralumin, or wooden rods arranged in a three-dimensional grid. It is often installed in children's parks, kindergartens, and elementary schools. Climbing through and climbing down this grid not only satisfies a child's natural desire to climb trees, but also helps train motor skills and muscles. It is also designed to be less dangerous. It was originally a trademark name.

鉄、ジュラルミン、または木製の棒を立体格子に組んだ、児童向けの運動遊戯道具。児童公園、幼稚園、小学校などに設備されることが多い。この格子の中をくぐったり、登り降りをすることで、木登りなどにみられる、児童の自然的欲求を満足させるとともに、運動神経や筋肉の訓練にも役だつ。危険性も少なくできている。もとは商標名であった。
