... Japanese circuses do not have permanent theaters, so all performances are held in tents. In the past, a performance technique called a "flap curtain" was used, where a curtain would be lifted briefly at the wooden door of the tent hut to show the inside of the venue, but this is no longer the case, and tents made of iron pipes (commonly known as round tents) are built, with the largest covering 1,900 m2 (accommodating 2,500 people). Behind the round tent are small tents for the members' accommodation, dressing rooms, etc. ...
