In Tokushima it is prized as a delicacy, and is called Saraneburi in some regions, but it is said that its skin and stomach smell like urine, and it is called Shobenuo in Kumamoto, and Bari, Baritare, Ainobari, Ainomari, and Eebari in Shizuoka, Wakayama, Setouchi, and northern Kyushu. It is omnivorous, but prefers seaweed, and the taste seems to vary depending on how the seaweed is eaten. ...
