Xiajiadian Ruins (English: Xià jiā diàn yí zhǐ)

Japanese: 夏家店遺跡 - かかてんいせき（英語表記）Xià jiā diàn yí zhǐ

A Bronze Age site located about 15km east of Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia (Mongolian) Autonomous Region, China. In 1960, the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, investigated the site, which led to a revision of the chronology of the Bronze Age culture in southern Jehol Province. The cultural layer is divided into two layers, with stone tools, bone tools, pottery, and copper slag found in the lower layer. The pottery is mainly gray ware, with prominent shapes such as 'reki' and 'gen'. The pottery resembles the Yin culture of the Erlitou site, but is a variant of the Longshan culture of the Central Plains. Remains of pit dwellings, burials, and storage pits have been discovered in the upper layer.

中国内モンゴル(蒙古)自治区赤峰市の東約15kmにある青銅器時代の遺跡。1960年中国科学院考古研究所が調査し，旧熱河省南部の青銅器時代文化の編年が修正された。文化層は上下2層に分かれ，下層から石器，骨器，土器，銅滓などが出ている。土器は灰陶が主で，鬲（れき）や甗（げん）などの器形が目立つ。土器の様相は二里頭遺跡の殷文化に似るが，中原の竜山文化の一変種である。上層から竪穴住居址，墓葬，貯蔵穴などが発見されている。
