Haruki Aikawa

Japanese: 相川春喜 - あいかわはるき

1909-1953 A technology historian and social activist from the Showa era.
Born on August 15, 1909. After dropping out of Fourth Senior High School due to a student strike, he worked at the Industrial Labor Research Institute and other institutions, and participated in the Materialism Study Group. In 1936, he was arrested in the Com-Academy Incident. After the war, he was interned in Siberia, where he wrote editorials for the Nippon Shimbun newspaper for Japanese prisoners of war. He returned to Japan in 1949. He passed away on April 29, 1953, aged 43. He was from Niigata Prefecture. His real name was Yanami Hisao. His works include "Technology Theory" and "Modern Technology Theory."

明治42年8月15日生まれ。学生ストで四高中退後,産業労働調査所などにつとめ,唯物論研究会に参加。昭和11年コム-アカデミー事件で検挙される。戦後シベリアに抑留され,日本人捕虜向けの「日本しんぶん」の論説を担当した。24年帰国。昭和28年4月29日死去。43歳。新潟県出身。本名は矢浪久雄。著作に「技術論」「現代技術論」など。
