Born on August 15, 1909. After dropping out of Fourth Senior High School due to a student strike, he worked at the Industrial Labor Research Institute and other institutions, and participated in the Materialism Study Group. In 1936, he was arrested in the Com-Academy Incident. After the war, he was interned in Siberia, where he wrote editorials for the Nippon Shimbun newspaper for Japanese prisoners of war. He returned to Japan in 1949. He passed away on April 29, 1953, aged 43. He was from Niigata Prefecture. His real name was Yanami Hisao.
