ZAS

...The casting temperature is low at about 400°C, and it is possible to produce complex shapes and thin-walled parts, making it extremely versatile as a part for various equipment. There is also a zinc alloy for molds used in plastic molding dies, and one called ZAS is made of 4% Al, 3% Cu, and 0.03% Mg. As a socket alloy for fixing the cable ends of long suspension bridges, a Zn-Cu alloy with 1-2% Cu is used for the Wakato Bridge, etc.
