...From the end of 1910 to the beginning of 1911, appeals for armed struggle for liberation appeared, and Moscow Patriarch Germogen's circular to the cities also inspired the people. The First Liberation Army was formed, led by three men: Prokopii Lyapnov, the Ryazan military commander; Dmitrii Trubetskoi, who had been granted the title of noble by False Dmitry II; and Ivan Zarutskii, the Cossack leader. However, conflict arose between the nobles and the Cossacks within the army, and Lyapnov was killed in July 1911, and the army was disbanded before the capture of Moscow. ...
