Trakl's poems are particularly notable. Furthermore, the style of poetry developed by Expressionism, known as "parallelism," in which short lines of verse are listed one after the other as if ignoring the context of the preceding and following sentences, is typified by Alfred Lichtenstein's (1889-1914) poem Dämmerung. …
