Representatives of Pandectin jurisprudence include Karl Adolf von Vangerow (1808-70) and Heinrich Dernburg (1829-1907), but the most important is Windscheidt. His three-volume Pandectin Law Textbook (1862-70) acquired standard significance for the jurisprudence and legal practice of the time, and also had a strong influence on the drafting of the German Civil Code (the code as a whole is considered to be the product of Pandectin jurisprudence). ...
