Léonard

...It has been widely cultivated in various parts of Europe since the 16th century, because it was used as an ingredient in "aqua aurea," a gold water that was said to be effective against stroke, rheumatism, and gout. According to French legend, the flower appeared in the trail of blood when Saint Léonard (feast day November 6th, patron saint of prisoners) drove a dragon out of the forest in 559. This flower is also offered at Pentecost, and its flower language includes "return of happiness, unskillful kindness," "purity," and "sweetness."
