Lo-Johansson, I.

...Dan Andersson (1888-1920), a representative poet of early proletarian literature, sought a religious state, but disliked politics and was not connected to revolutionary ideas. On the other hand, other writers who could be classified as proletarian writers include Moberg, who wrote about impoverished peasants who emigrated overseas, Ivar Lo-Johansson (1901-), who wrote autobiographical works on the theme of small farmers, Stig Dagerman (1923-54), who showed his genius in many fields but took his own life at a young age, and Nils Ferlin (1898-1961), a satirical poet who has been called the Chaplin of the poetry world. In addition, proletarian writers such as Yunsson, Moberg, and Martinsson, as well as Lagerkvist, wrote works criticizing totalitarianism during World War II, and among them, Yunsson was the most energetic and practically active.

…初期プロレタリア文学の代表的詩人アンデルソンDan Andersson(1888‐1920)は宗教的境地をこそ求めはしたが，政治嫌いで革命思想とは結びつかない。他方，海外へ移民する貧窮化した農民を描いたムーベリ，零細農民をテーマに自伝的作品を精力的にものしてきたロー･ヨハンソンIvar Lo‐Johansson(1901‐　)，多方面にその鬼才ぶりを発揮しながら若くしてみずから命を絶ったダーゲルマンStig Dagerman(1923‐54)，詩壇のチャップリンとの評もある風刺詩人フェリーンNils Ferlin(1898‐1961)などもプロレタリア作家の範疇に入れることができる。　またユーンソン，ムーベリ，マルティンソンらのプロレタリア作家やラーゲルクビストは第2次大戦下の全体主義を批判する作品を書いており，中でもユーンソンは最も精力的に実践的な活動をしたといえる。…
