Founding treasure - Kaikishoho

Japanese: 開基勝宝 - かいきしょうほう

〘Noun〙 Money with a round hole issued from the 4th year of the Tenpyo Houji era ( 760 ). It was Japan's first gold coin, and was worth 10 mon of the silver Taiping Genpo coin and 100 mon of the copper Mannen Tsuho coin issued at the same time. Since the economic society at the time did not require money, it is thought that they were made experimentally, and only 32 coins have been discovered. ※Shoku Nihongi - 4th year of the Tenpyo Houji era (760), March Ding Chou "The inscription on the money says that _two Kaiji Shoho coins _{are to be made} . 〘名〙天平宝字四年（七六〇）から発行された円形方孔の金銭。日本最初の金貨で、同時発行の銀銭太平元宝の十文、銅銭万年通宝の百文に相当する。当時は金銭を必要とする経済社会でなかったから、試験的に作られたものと考えられ、わずかに三二個が発見されているだけである。※続日本紀‐天平宝字四年（760）三月丁丑「金銭文曰_二開基勝宝_一。以_レ一当_二銀銭之十_一」
