Later, Ernst Meumann, a German who had studied experimental psychology under WM Bund, who created the world's first psychology laboratory, proposed experimental pedagogy with the aim of combining experimental psychology with education, and wrote "Introductory Lectures on Experimental Pedagogy" (1907-14), which is said to have solidified the foundations of educational psychology.
