An Arabic astronomical book introduced to China during the Yuan and Ming dynasties. Arabic astronomy was introduced in the early Yuan dynasty, and its calendar system helped to correct the calculations of the ancient Chinese calendar. It is said to have been created with reference to the Irkhan Astronomical Tables compiled at the Great Observatory built by Hulagu Khan in Iran.
