Woman in a hurry - Woman in a hurry

Japanese:
Woman in a hurry - Woman in a hurry
Kabuki Kyogen. Historical piece. One act. First performed in November 1746 (Enkyo 3) at the Nakamuraza in Edo as "Tenchi Taiheiki" by Shosei Ran Koroku. Since the Meiji period, it has also been performed under the title "Onna Shibaraku." It is a version of "Shibaraku" where the protagonist is changed to a woman, and is performed by female actors of the troupe rank. The key point is that, although it is a rough piece, the performers do not forget that they are women, and there are some clever touches, such as adding "Oh, I'm so embarrassed" to the end of the string of memorable lines. Japanese:
